Can I request re-marking?

If you believe your test results do not reflect your performance you can request a re-mark for one or more sub-tests. The OET Re-marking Policy aims to ensure your requests are received, reviewed, and resolved fairly and transparently.

  • You can request re-marking within 72 hours of your results being published

You can request re-marking if you believe your results do not reflect your performance on the test.

Requests must be made within 72 hours from when your results are released. Requests received after this period will not be accepted.

Your myOET dashboard will be updated with the new result(s) three weeks from the day you submit the request.

How much does re-marking cost?

Re-marking costs AU $120 per sub-test, however this fee will be refunded if your grade is changed.

How can I request re-marking?

  1. Log in to myOET
  2. Click the “Request Re-marking” link for the sub-test(s) you want to get remarked.
  3. Proceed to payment

Please note:

  • Your grade may increase or decrease after re-marking and cannot be reversed back to the original result.
