Before test day – OET@Home candidates only
To successfully take OET@Home, you must meet specific requirements or the test will not work properly for you. For example, if you do not have your screen resolution set to 1920 x 1080, you will not be able to use the split-screen function in the Reading sub-test, which allows you to read the texts while answering the questions.

On test day – OET on computer at a test venue
If for any reason you encounter technical difficulties at your test venue, your Prometric test center will notify us. Each test center sends us a report within five days of the test that lets us know of any problems candidates have experienced. Once we have received this report, we will investigate and get back to you via email. We estimate that we will be able to respond to you by the end of the week following your test.
On test day – OET@Home
18-20 December test takers: If you were affected by system issues with ProProctor, please note that Prometric (the owners of the ProProctor platform) will contact you within the next 72 hours to reschedule your test. If in the meantime you have booked a new test, simply contact us with your booking details and we will process a full refund for you.
If for any reason you encounter technical difficulties with your OET@Home test, we are happy to offer you a free resit of OET@Home for the next available test date. To take us up on this offer, please book and pay for your new test and then contact our support team with your new booking number so that we can refund your full test fee.
