What OET grades do I need to be accepted by the Medical Council (MC) of Ireland?

The Medical Council (MC) of Ireland has announced that it will formally recognise OET for overseas-trained doctors for registration purposes, from 8 February 2018. You will need to achieve at least Grade B in all four sub-tests of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

In OET you must achieve at least Grade B in all four sub-tests of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

MC will only accept results from OET administrations taken from February 2016 onwards.

They will not accept grades lower than this standard.
